The 2024 Sustainability Report covers Texas Gas Service's metrics from 2023 and covers our progress toward this vision, showcasing our continued commitment to safe operations, responsible environmental stewardship and supporting employees and the communities we serve. 

The report outlines the benefits of natural gas, environmental sustainability efforts, Texas Gas Service safety and system integrity, our social commitment, and leadership and governance. Each of these areas remains key to our efforts to implement sustainable practices in everything we do.

Our Texas co-workers take an active role in supporting our customers and communities. Here are just a few of the ways we gave back in 2024:

• We are participating in the H2@scale hydrogen development project in partnership with GTI Energy and the University of Texas at Austin. The project is the first dedicated renewable hydrogen network to test and demonstrate hydrogen infrastructure safety and reliability. Using hydrogen as a fuel source has the potential for national and regional benefits for energy storage, resiliency and emissions reduction. Read more on page 13.
• We partnered with the Opportunity Center for the Homeless to support their new Veterans Transitional Living Center (VTLC) funded by the ONE Gas Foundation. You can read more about this on page 49.
• We renovated the St. Elmo Service Center in Austin using sustainable building equipment and materials. Learn more on page 18.
